Call it destiny,fate or accident but, when the original three members of PMD found themselves in the same room 20 years after the band started in 1988 there was nothing left to do but play some rock n roll.
This became regular with most of our old punk,hardcore & metal songs thrown out we started jamming new riffs. We didnt consider ourselves PMD it was just Steve,Shawn & Nigel. We went to the studio to record live tracks. Not long after Steve become ill & was no longer able to drum. When Steve didnt get better we stopped doing the album.Then he passed. Years went by & Shawn passed. At that point i thought it was worth trying to save the album.
The studio couldnt find the tracks after so many years and i was left with the first "scratch"mix to work with.
My plan was to add another vocal track & get the fourth member of the band,lead guitarist Frank Brophy to do some lead. After it was done i added a second lead guitar for Shawn. At that point i wasnt sure if the mix was working with all the new tracks so i stripped it back to the live band with Frank playing on over dub. Included are both versions. It is nothing like the first album & was never ment to be.
Here is the skeleton album from a band that could not be anything other than Post Mortem Depression!
